Nationwide Maintenance Solutions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Nationwide Maintenance Solutions (“NMS”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By engaging our services, the client (“you” or “your”) agrees to the following terms.

1. Services

Nationwide Maintenance Solutions provides construction, maintenance, refurbishment, groundwork, plumbing, electrical, and associated building services across residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial sectors.

All works will be carried out as agreed within written quotations, estimates, or project documentation provided prior to commencement.

2. Quotations & Estimates

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time of pricing and may be subject to change where:

  • Additional works are requested

  • Site conditions differ from those expected

  • Materials or labour costs increase

  • Delays occur outside of our control

Any variations to agreed works may result in additional charges.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be outlined within the quotation or invoice provided.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Invoices are payable within 14 days

  • Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998

  • We reserve the right to suspend works where payments remain outstanding

Deposits may be required prior to the commencement of certain projects.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing clear access to the site

  • Ensuring relevant permissions or approvals are obtained where required

  • Informing us of any known hazards or site restrictions

  • Removing or protecting personal belongings where necessary

Delays caused by restricted access or unavailable information may affect project timelines.

5. Project Timelines

Estimated timescales are provided in good faith but may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Material availability

  • Site conditions

  • Delays from third parties

  • Variations to the agreed scope of work

Nationwide Maintenance Solutions will make reasonable efforts to keep clients informed of any changes to project schedules.

6. Materials & Workmanship

We aim to provide all services using suitable materials and professional workmanship in line with current UK industry standards.

Where manufacturers’ warranties apply, these will remain subject to the terms of the original manufacturer.

7. Health & Safety

Nationwide Maintenance Solutions operates in accordance with relevant UK health and safety regulations and reserves the right to suspend works where unsafe conditions are identified.

Clients and site occupants must comply with reasonable safety instructions while works are being carried out.

8. Liability

We maintain appropriate public liability insurance for the services we provide.

Nationwide Maintenance Solutions shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Delays outside of our reasonable control

  • Existing defects or issues not previously identified

  • Damage resulting from structural or hidden defects beyond the agreed scope of works

Nothing within these terms excludes liability where prohibited under UK law.

9. Cancellations

Cancellation of agreed works must be provided in writing.

Where materials have already been ordered or works commenced, costs incurred up to the cancellation date may remain payable.

10. Website Information

While we aim to ensure accuracy, Nationwide Maintenance Solutions accepts no liability for reliance placed upon website content.

11. Privacy

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
